Law student rejects Oxford
- 18th January 2012
Elly Nowell an aspiring law student has rejected an offer from Oxford to read Law after having an interview at Magdalen College.
The letter was written tongue in cheek after Elly realised Oxford was not the type of establish where she would like to study. She withdrew her application by writing a letter to the college.
She said in her letter to the college, "I realise you may be disappointed by this decision, but you were in competition with many fantastic universities and following your interview I am afraid you do not quite meet the standard of the universities I will be considering."
Elly hopes to be offered a place at UCL and start her course later this year.
