Law student found in possession of child porn

A law student from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada has pleaded guilty to possession of a substantial collection of child pornography found on his person just a few months ago.
The student had already been summoned by police on a previous occasion in 2009 on suspicion of possessing and making illegal material available to others over the internet.
Following a search of flash drives taken from him, there were over 70,000 photos of child porn found. It is believed that he is likely to be given between 12 and 24 months in prison in addition to around three years of probation.
