Law firms begin to announce retention rates
- 24th January 2012
A number of law firms have announced their retention rates for their first intake of 2012, and overall, it would appear to be pretty good news. With students having enough to worry about securing a training contract in the first place, it’s good to hear that retention rate announcements so far appear to be fairly healthy.
Freshfields (42 of its 46 February NQs were offered places) and Allen & Overy (52 of 57 NQs) are the first of the magic circle, with Berwin Leighton Paisner (88%), SJ Berwin (83%), Stephenson Harwood (88%) and Norton Rose (78%) also releasing their stats.
