- 31st December 2010
Kaplan Law School is rapidly adding to its roster of law firms which has signed exclusive deals with Kaplan to provide its future trainee solicitors with LPC training.
Holman Fenwick Willan is the latest firm, and its trainees will take part in Kaplan’s ‘Bridge To Practice’, an umbrella programme that sits over the LPC and helps prepare students for day one at the firm.
London firm Shearman has also signed an exclusive deal with the law school for its LPC and GDL offerings for trainees who will be with the firm from September 2011. A spokesperson for the firm said Shearmans liked the smaller class sizes, “emphasis on classroom time”, the quality of its courses and pastoral care arrangements.
Kaplan now has 13 law firms that have signed exclusive training deals for the LPC and GDL, including Bird & Bird and Mayer Brown, and is closing in on its rival LPC providers which also have exclusive deals with law firms.
