  • ILEX Graduate wins award at Minority Lawyers’ Conference

  • A Graduate member of ILEX, Muhammed Abdul Muid Khan, has won the award for ‘Advocacy in the face of Adversity’ at this year’s Minority Lawyers’ Conference. He also becomes the first British-Bangladeshi lawyer to do so.

  • The Awards is jointly organised by the Law Society, ILEX and the Bar Council aimed at bringing together Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic lawyers and those keen to promote racial diversity in the profession.

    Mr Muid Khan won the awards for his work defending a victim of domestic violence in the case of Miss Rume Begun v The Secretary of State.
