Firms look to support students dealing with rising tuition fees
- 06th April 2011
With most universities that have announced their fee structures aiming for the £9000 maximum, law firms are looking to take steps to help students with the additional burden they face.
With companies in other sectors such as KPMG and PWC taking steps to help alleviate the additional financial strain students face, a collection of city firms have already indicated they plan to find similar ways of assisting.
Addleshaw Goddard, Eversheds, Hogan Lovells, Linklaters, Herbert Smith & Clifford Chance have already indicated they will be reviewing their current processes. Current indications are they may look to donate directly to university law departments, setting up scholarships, bursaries, sponsorship opportunities and various other options.
