  • 06th October 2010
  • The College of Law (CoL) has clinched LPC training deals with two major law firms, adding to its growing tally of exclusive arrangements through which law firms send their future trainee solicitors to the CoL for their LPC.

  • Leading independent Birmingham-based firm Martineau, has named the CoL as its sole provider for the LPC for its future trainees.  Starting this academic year, Martineau trainees can chose to study at any of the CoL’s UK locations.

Martineau’s director of Human Resources Diane Price, says: “We are very pleased to be working with The College of Law in this way.  It will mean that all our trainees receive the same quality training, which will provide them with the best starting point for their career at Martineau.”

London based, international business law firm Lawrence Graham LLP (LG) has also signed a similar agreement with the CoL to provide its GDL and LPC as well as the PSC.  LG says it wanted to “enter into an exclusive relationship with a single provider to ensure a more consistent approach to training and an integrated introduction to practice”.
