Clifford Chance offers fast track LPC
- 22nd September 2010
Future trainees at City giant Clifford Chance will soon be able to take an accelerated LPC lasting just seven months.
Trainees due to start their training contract at the firm in August 2012 will be able to start the new look course from January in 2012, which the firm plans to run twice a year.
The students will undertake an e-learning foundation course before six months of teaching on the LPC which has been developed with the College of Law. City firm Linklaters is also to offer a shortened LPC from next year. BPP Law School already offers an accelerated LPC for a group of law firms in London.
Tony King, head of HR development at Clifford Chance says: “We believe this will benefit our trainees by delivering a course more tailored to the specific needs and abilities of the trainees joining Clifford Chance.”
