Bar Council essay competition 2010

The Bar Council has launched the 2010 Law Reform Essay Competition with up to £9,000 in price money up for grabs.
The competition, sponsored by the Bar Council Scholarship Trust is open to all law students and pupils. Entrants are to submit an essay of up to 3,000 word identifying and making the case for a law reform that is desirable, practical and useful.
The winner will receive £4000 and the runner up will win £1,500. The best CPE/GDL entry will also be awarded £1,500 with the runner up CPE/GDL entry winning £1,000. Entrants have until 15th October 2010 to submit their essays and the prizes will be presented at the Law Reform Lecture on 23 November 2010.
