Applications to University are Down
- 26th October 2011
The latest statistics released by UCAS show that the number of applicants for University are down by 12% for domestic students.
The reason behind the drop have been blamed by some on the increase in fees. However, applications from students in Scotland have also fallen and students there do not need to pay fee's fuelling speculation that the reasons behind the drop may be a result of something else. In reality it is probably a combination of factors that have contributed to the fall which does include the huge increase in fees.
