A&O wins best employer gongs

International firm Allen & Overy has won the accolade of most popular Law-Solicitors firm at the recent TARGETJobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards for the fifth year running, after voting by 80,000 students and recent graduates nationwide took place.
And at the beginning of April, just two weeks later, it won the Graduate Employer of Choice for Law 2010 at the annual Times Top 100 awards after face-to-face interviews with more than 16,000 final year students across 30 universities nationwide.
Those applying for jobs in law were asked for their preference of which legal sector employer they would chose to work for. All interviewees were also asked which employer they thought offers the best opportunities for graduates.
Commenting on the award, A&O’s graduate recruitment manager Caroline Lindner said: “This award demonstrates the high regard students have placed on the quality of our training programme, graduate recruitment activities and what we do as a business. In what has been a challenging recruitment year for employers and students alike, we're delighted that students have recognised Allen & Overy as an employer of choice in the legal sector.”
