  • 33% increase in Student Pro Bono Work

  • The latest report by Law works has shown an increase in the amount of pro bono by 33% since 2006. Although pro bono remains still remain largely extra-curricular with only 5% of law school making it compulsary, whilst only 10% assess students who take part.

  • This is the most comprehensive research into Pro Bono by stduents in recent years and show the positive impact organisations such as Law Works are having on the legal community and law schools at large. 

    Jack Denton, from AllAboutLaw said, "it's of course great to see so many more students getting involved. We'd like to see more schools making it a compulsary part of their syllabus". 

    The research looked at 111 law school from all over the United Kingdom. You can read the full report here.
