Hi, I have just joined the site and am just starting to read through the site.
I am just finishing the BVC at Nott’m and am looking to boost my legal experience over the next year to help my search for pupillage. With all the student loan and professional debts to start paying back though, I am going to need paid legal experience and so can’t rely on doing numerous mini-pupillages, marshalling and pro-bono.
I have been looking for paralegal roles but nearly all (and ive viewed hundreds) want specific experience in paralegal case handling roles in that particular area of law. I have worked for a year as a criminal paralegal but am looking to gain experience in PI and other civil matters, asylum and immigration matters, family and licensing.
I have attached my CV with my academic record and my experience thus far and was wondering if you have any pointers on where to look for legal jobs for the next 1 or 2 years.
