When do I need to apply ?
It might worth keeping a notes of these dates…
This article is a step by step guide to the CAB application timeline. This Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) application guide will stop you missing out on the CAB application deadlines.
For full time courses, the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) courses use a central applications online procedure. Centralised applications were brought in to effect to ensure each applicant only accepted one place on a course. Your application is completed through the Central Applications Board.
Full time Graduate Diploma in Law Course Application Dates
You can apply for your place on the Graduate Diploma in Law course from the start of November in the year before you wish to start. The initial selection and allocation process then runs from February to mid April each year.
Part time application dates.
For part time courses you apply direct to the law school of your choice. You should contact your preferred law school to find out the application procedure.
What else do I need to do?
Your CAB application allows you to list three choices of law school for your application to be sent to. Attending an open day at each law school you have listed should form a vital part of your research in to choosing the right law school for you. You need to ensure you feel comfortable in the surroundings and are confident in the team that will support you through these studies. Law schools run open days throughout the year and some offer individual visits if you are unable to attend an open day.
