Revision Season
11.04.2010It comes every year. The same routine.
First comes the moan about the exam time table, “a Saturday exam, is this some kind of joke! You have got to be kidding me! It is so unfair, Criminal and Tort are just 18 hours apart!”

Law Student Statistics
06.01.2010Today, All About Law released some of our user statistics to see the general trends of law students in the UK. According to the latest statistics from the Higher Education Statistics Agency there are just fewer than 90,000 law students in the UK. The majority of those will be studying English and Welsh Law. We took a sample of over 2500 students and took at look at what aspiring lawyers are aiming for in the future.

Question Time - you know the one
23.10.2009I imagine lots of people tuned in to watch Question Time last night to what Mr Griffin had to say. I was interested to see what he would say and how his party would be portrayed. Everyone seems to have a lot of opinions on the BNP but I do wonder how much of that is based on hear say?

Equal Opportunities
19.11.2009A fairly modern concept by all accounts. In recent years it has been particularly prevalent in public bodies and political speech. I would like to consider whether this is a useful idiom, or linguistic filler people say to seem concerned, fair and just and whether there are even such things as equal opportunities.
